Legal Notice

In accordance with Articles 6-III and 19 of French Law No. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 on confidence in the digital economy (LCEN), users of the keep-alive.fr website are hereby informed of the following legal notice.

1. Publisher

⚠️ Until KEEP ALIVE is registered, this legal notice — like all contractual documents for the service — remains incomplete and will be updated once the SIREN, company register number, and EU VAT number are obtained.

2. Hosting

The keep-alive.fr website and its backend service are hosted on self-managed infrastructure located within France / the European Union. Detailed contact information for the host is available on request at contact@keep-alive.fr. For security reasons, the technical topology of the infrastructure (servers, network, information-system organization) is not detailed here.

3. Nature of the service

KEEP ALIVE is a crisis-management advisory and assistance service, providing technological tools (alert button, geolocation, trusted-contact network) and, depending on the plan, remote support from operator-advisors.

KEEP ALIVE is a complementary service to public emergency services and never substitutes for them. In case of immediate danger, contact the official emergency numbers first: 15 (medical), 17 (police), 18 (fire), or 112 (EU emergency number). KEEP ALIVE is not an emergency service within the legal meaning of the term and, to date, carries out no physical intervention on the ground.

The positioning of KEEP ALIVE's activity with respect to the French private-security regime (CNAPS) is currently being confirmed with the relevant authorities and legal counsel.

4. Intellectual property

All elements composing the website (text, logos, design system, source code, illustrations) are the exclusive property of KEEP ALIVE, unless otherwise indicated. Any reproduction, representation, modification, or exploitation, in part or in whole, without prior written authorization is prohibited and constitutes infringement punishable under Articles L.335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.

The "KEEP ALIVE" trademark and associated logos are the property of KEEP ALIVE. A trademark filing with the INPI is in preparation.

5. Personal data

The processing of personal data is covered by a dedicated policy, available here. Any request relating to GDPR (RGPD) rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection) can be sent to contact@keep-alive.fr.

6. Cookies

This website uses no third-party analytics or advertising cookies. Any future audience measurement will be self-hosted and compliant with CNIL guidelines on cookies exempt from consent.

7. Limitation of liability

The KeepAlive application is provided under an obligation of means, never of result. KEEP ALIVE implements all reasonable means to ensure service reliability, without guaranteeing any delay or continuous availability. In case of immediate danger, always dial the official emergency numbers first (112, 17, 15, 18 in France).

The publisher cannot be held liable for damages resulting, in particular, from an outage of the cellular or Internet network, a failure of the user's device, or contact information that is incorrect or not kept up to date. Full liability limitations are set out in the Terms of Use.

8. Applicable law and jurisdiction

This legal notice is governed by French law. Any dispute relating to its interpretation or enforcement falls under the jurisdiction of the French courts, subject to mandatory consumer-protection provisions.
